I stumbled into my first Bikram yoga class in 2009 as a college student studying dance, looking for a cross-training option that would help maintain and improve range of motion with low impact. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into but I immediately fell in love with the discipline of the practice and compassion of the community. Upon finishing school, I attended Teacher Training in Fall 2012 and began teaching at my home studio in Evanston, IL. Over the years I’ve explored as much yoga as I possibly can, but I’ve found nothing that gives me quite the same peace of mind and spine as 26&2.

The journey of life has taken me away from the Bikram world for a bit while I’ve been living in Breckenridge, but I am beyond thrilled to be back in the heat! After experiencing my first traumatic knee injury, surgery, and recovery, I’m reminded of the tremendous healing power of this practice. Whether it’s a broken body, broken mind, or broken heart, there is always help for you in the hot room.
